Opps...yes I am going travelling again yet after my Korean trip just a few weeks ago. Well give me a break before I start furious on my job hunting yar? It definitely does send me some cold warnings when I see each and everyone of you here diligently finding job or busy working alr. Well I am at the same time searching for jobs too what just no lobangs and if just so unluckily, they have called me during my overseas trips, then all I could say is.....just too bad larhz!
Anyway back to my topic, yappy and i are spending overnight at the airport to save hotel cost! Oh well, hope we can find some proper places to at least rest manz...blame it on our stingyness!
This trip is different in that this is my first proper backpacking trip with Yappy that is planned right from scratch without the help of tour package or watsoever (unlike Roy, a fren, whom I think he has been so used to doing that for most of his travel). From flight to hotel and calculated expenses on transport, food and the places that we intended to visit based on much research done on net and books, we hope to spend within our budget around $500+ for everything. Read and learnt so much info on the net since I am so free u see ( waiting for some ppl to ask me go gym or swimming lor but dun have leh guess they found jobs alr...;p) and was telling yappy after all the research, I feel as if I know Bangkok inside out now...can be tour guide alr! hahaa. Exaggeration of cos. Will prob share some of the useful websites that I've found with U guys when I am back. Excited to see what will and will not fall into our expectations. We Shall See! cos just heard from a tour agent that we talked to that the "cheapskate" hotel that we have booked ourselves online could be a motel with many blacks and africans! and yappy was trying to make it sound worse by cautioning abt the Blacks' semen stains on the bedsheet that I should be lookin out for! Tat certainly is so comforting to hear from my dearest...
We are also planning to take a 2 hrs bus trip to Pattaya beach for a day and night. Hope no unnecessary frills in between or so. hhmm...
As usual, learnt some useful thai phrases and words just incase sign language just cant make it. The trip to Chiang Mai last year certainly helps in my recall of some thai words picked up then. Anyway hope the ppl there will khao jai (understand) what we say as our tone might just twist the meaning of the words.... hha
Was also telling yappy that actually I rather this trip will not come any sooner so that it will never be over. Things always happen so fast and over before you know it, u noe wat i mean? Just like I often enjoy more the feeling of waiting food to be served when hungry than the feeling of fullness thereafter. And like my mum and relatives who say that our trip to Korea seem like a dream now that we are back in Sg again. My sis who went for a one mth New Zealand trip come back mentioning that actually she cant really rem much of her trip......
Well I dunno whether I make sense over here...but you might know what I mean...
For the time being, shall put a couple more pics taken from Korea for u guys to see some of the stuff there and to kill ur boredom since it was only a few that I have put up previously cos was lazy. Must win Iris who is always putting so many pics in her blog lor... hahaa :p
BtwI think Korea is def worth another visit during the Autumn and Winter. Now is spring which is the season that I went to, less spectacular scenery bah.
some shopping places like ming dong and dong da men:

Look at the sssooo many shoes displayed!
Amusement centres like Everland and Lotte world...fun:

This pic is to show you my long legs, for your info:

Oh well...I mean... see the ferry ride behind? They are for skaters to move up to the top of the slope for ice skating during winter time!
A teddy bear museum:

This pic is to show you my small eyes that hardly opens under hot sun:

Zha jiang mian in a foodcourt....look like lor mee rite...but taste sweet the sauce.
